Product documents and equipment compatibility
A manufacturer catalog describes a product range; procurement needs documents that match the exact configuration being proposed. Use the following checks when collecting information from NTN.
Match the model and configuration
Check the manufacturer name, model, catalog reference and included accessories against the quotation. An image of a product family does not establish what is included in a specific offer.
Separate catalogs from instructions
Request the current instructions for use, relevant product specifications and the documents required by your organization. Ask the supplier to confirm which registration or certificate applies to the proposed company and model.
Confirm the whole system
List the processor, optical system, cables, generator and accessories that will be used together. For example, JiYuan document L0234 Rev. A excludes use with high-frequency and laser equipment; compatibility should follow the applicable manufacturer instructions.
Keep a document record
Record the document title, revision and source link. If a document or accessory changes, confirm whether the original quotation and configuration still apply.
